Depression sets in

After 3 years of living in Canada's "Great White North," (okay, I guess Brockville isn't North...but it was still cold... and they get ridiculous Ice Storms!!!). I caved in today. I was holding out and took pride in the fact that I had survived thus far. But atlas...I caved in and bought winter boots. I'm not a big fan of winter...most definitely not a fan of snow. Sure...we can have it for a week, but over 6 months is an over-kill. But since I'll be walking to and from the bus stop a whole lot more...I thought some boots might be necessary. Sad to say I didn't buy neon Sorel's.
